Pastor Waylon and Dana came to us from Omaha, Nebraska where they pastored a youth church of well over 400 students. Having served for more than 13 years as a Youth Pastor they know what it takes to shepherd students. Their passion is to reach the lost, disciple them, and turn them into future leaders in the Kingdom. God has placed on their hearts a growing desire to be a resource to others who share their passion for youth ministry.
Pastor Waylon recognizes the need for the youth of our city to have a place to go that offers true worship, relevant teaching, and real relationships. He focuses on meeting this need through weekly, corporate services and through small group ministry. Small groups are a part of Pastor Waylon’s vision to see the church extended into homes across the city, to provide a “family” atmosphere for the spiritual growth of students. He places a strong emphasis on missions by planning annual trips and by teaching youth to be missions givers through Speed the Light.
Pastor Waylon and Dana oversee all aspects of our student ministries, including Junior High, High School, College and the Edge School of Ministry.
They have been married for fourteen years and have four children.
